I am going to say something a little unconventional.... The Carryall!
The Disruptor and MKII are not much in-terms of offensive units without the Carryall to assist them. The Carryall gives GDI players a real means of attack besides the standard grounds units.
You can carry a MCV and build in someone's base, carry MCV and emp someone's base, carry 100 Titans etc...
I was tempted to say the Sub APC of NOD because it effectively does what a Carryall does but it has more limitations to attack with. With Carryall and MCV you can avoid the use of eng attacks which can be killed. Combining multiple Sub APC's, you can have a varied and confusing attack on your opponent.

Dan that is so uncontroversial... Carryall is by far and away the most effective unit in game. Without carryall gdi would be pretty rubbish except early game with infs and tits. However with carryall...
Sub is quite limiting imo. You know I actually think it's a bit too slow. Not slow in 'how fast is possible to be digging through the ground' slow, but I mean in terms of relative to the speed of a carryall.
Ok, so just to be equally uncontroversial, I'm going to say the MCV.

Effective yes, but only in certain situations. Carryall has far more flexibility, which isnt' just limited to Engs and CC. Don't forget as well that carryall adds massive potential for expansion and long-game economy on big maps. Carrying harvs around is really useful. Plus you can also use it to help allies.

Carryall was my first thought when I saw the topic title. It's so much more than one of the most effective units in ts, it's what made me love ts. It's what stops ts from being a unit spam game. It's what makes gdis attacks fun and interesting.
But my favourite unit would probably be the stealth tank. It's underused ... and that for good reasons. It's overpriced, slow and a sensor array instantly makes it a rubbish titan. But I love the design of it and I think it would have had so much potential. Imagine there was no sensor array or it had far less range and would be more expensive. With all these changes applied it would add an amazing raiding unit for nod (raiding harvester, surprise attacks on refs etc etc)
Actually in general the whole stealth idea was dealt badly by westwood. It could be just as interesting as the carryall.

k guys. you're all idiots. the harvester is the most effective unit. carryall makes game interesting, apc's are good, yeah everyone likes titans, and wtf bombers own. without a harvester, you get NONE of these things. gg.
